Magnum installer,
Brownie Geotech, wrestles with significant soil challenges when installing
tension anchors for NASA at Cape Canaveral site.
Florida-based Magnum
installer, Brownie Geotech recently completed a helical anchor project for NASA
at their Cape Canaveral facility."The upper layer of soil at the site was extremely dense with blow
counts in the range of 50 / 6"," said Jeremy Brownie."The patented Magnum Dual Cutting Edge
Blade (Link to Dual Cutting Edge Blade) design saved the day on this project and
allowed us to cut through this layer to reach the required minimum depth
specified by the engineer," he added.
